SENDING BLESSINGS UPON THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا
'INDEED, ALLAH AND HIS ANGELS SEND BLESSINGS UPON THE PROPHET. O YOU WHO HAVE BELIEVED, ASK (ALLAH TO CONFER) BLESSINGS UPON HIM AND ASK (ALLAH TO GRANT HIM) PEACE
QUR'AN 33:56
صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَىٰ سَیِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
Ṣallallāhu ʿalā Sayyidinā Muḥammadin
May Allah send prayers upon Our Master Muhammad
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلىَ سَيِّدِناَ مُحَمَّدٍ
Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Sayyidinā Muḥammadin
O Allah, send prayers upon our Master Muhammad
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلىَ سَيِّدِناَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Sayyidinā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā ālihi Muhammadin
O Allah, send prayers and peace upon Our Master Muhammad and
upon his Family.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلىَ سَيِّدِناَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Sayyidinā Muḥammadin
wa ʿalā ālihi wa ṣaḥbihi wa sallim
O Allah, send prayers and peace upon Muhammad
and upon his Family and Companions.
صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ
Ṣalla Llāhu ʿalayka yā rasūlallāh
May the prayers of Allah be upon you, O Messenger of Allah.
اَلصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللّٰهِ
Aṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalayka yā rasūlallāh.
May prayers and peace be upon you O Messenger of Allah.
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
As-salāmu ʿalayka ayyuhan-nabiyyu wa raḥmatul-
llāhi wa barakātuhu
Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ سَیِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Sayyidinā Muḥammadin-
nabīyyil-ummīyyi wa ʿalā ālihi wa ṣaḥbihi wa sallim
O Allah, send prayers and peace upon our Master Muhammad,
the Primordial Prophet, and upon his
Family and Companions
THe ultimate benefit of salawat
Ubai ibn Ka'ab (may Allah be plesased with him) , I said *O Messenger of Allah, I send blessings upon you often. How many of my prayers should be for blessings upon you?' The Prophet said, 'As you wish.'' I said, ''A fourth?'' The Prophet said ''As you wish, but more is better for you.'' I said, ''A half?'' The Prophet said, ''As you, but more is better for you.'' I said, ''two-thirds:'' The Prophet said, ''As you wish, but more is better for you.'' I said, ''Should I say all of my prayers for blessings upon You?'' The Prophet said, ''If so, your worries will be resolved, and your sins will be forgiven.''
